BATTERY CHARGING
Battery pack is not charged when newly purchased. Battery pack must be charged
for 8 hours for the first and second charges. Subsequent charges require only 4
hours.
1. Plug the charger into a standard 110/120V indoor electrical outlet.
2. Connect the battery pack and charger cables by snapping together the jack and the
socket tightly. (see diagram)
3. After charging, the battery pack will be warm. This condition is normal for fully
charged batteries. If the speed of the car slows down suddenly, it is time to
recharge.
4. To disconnect cables, press down on the clip and pull apart. (see diagram)
CAUTION:
Do not recharge warm or hot battery packs. Wait 20 minutes until battery
pack has cooled.
Do not charge the battery that shows leakage or corrosion.
Recharging near fire or high temperature is dangerous.
Do not dispose of the batteries in fire.
Always unplug battery pack when not in use.
Always remove battery pack from vehicle before charging.
Dispose of NiCd battery packs properly, do not disassemble.
Do not use charger for any use other than instructed in directions.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged by an adult.
Do not mix different types of batteries or new and used batteries.
Batteries are to be inserted with correct polarity.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
