Color Density Problems
Color density problems are related to the appearance of the pages
you print. To check the printer’s color density, print a calibration page
(Administration/Special Pages/Calibration Page) and compare it to
the calibration cards that were provided with your printer.Complete
instructions are included in the “Color Density” section of chapter 4,
“Color Printing.”
» Note:
The Administration/Special Pages/Calibration Page menu is
available only on engines with the latest 1-3 engine ROM. It is not
available on older engines.
Engine ROM
To determine if your printer has the latest 1-3 engine ROM, check the
tag matrix located inside the printer.
