Installing options

17.4.2 Installing the authentication unit (IC card type)

1 Use the power switch to turn off the machine, and then unplug the machine.

2 Wind the USB cable around the ferrite core twice and connect

the cable to the authentication unit.

3 If necessary, use the included Velcro fastenings (A and B) to secure the authentication unit to the

working table.

4 Connect the USB cable to the machine.

5 Insert the power supply plug of the machine into the electrical outlet, and then turn on the machine.

6 Press the [Menu/Select] key.
