Configuring the Printer182
Energy Saver Time Specifies the length of time until the machine enters
Energy Saver mode.
Choices: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 Hours, 3 Hours
Default: 30 minutes
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
SYS DEFAULT MENU -
ENERGY SAVER TIME
Menu Timeout Specifies the length of time until the status screen is
displayed when no operation is performed while a
menu or help screen is displayed in the message
window. If Off is selected, no timeout occurs.
Choices: Off, 1 minute, 2 minutes
Default: 2 minutes
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
SYS DEFAULT MENU -
MENU TIMEOUT
Imaging Unit Life If Stop is selected, printing stops when the printer
detects the life of print unit.
If Continue is selected, printing continues even if the
printer detects the life of print unit.
Choices: Stop, Continue
Default: Stop
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
SYS DEFAULT MENU -
IMAGING UNIT LIFE
Detect Paper Size Specifies the unit system when the printer detect
paper size automatically.
Choices: Inch Size, Millimeter Size
Default: Inch Size (U.S. model), Millimeter Size
(Other model)
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
SYS DEFAULT MENU - PAPER -
DETECT PAPER SIZE
Apply button Applies the configuration settings for this window.
Clear button Resets all configuration settings to previous values.
Logout button Logs out of Administrator Mode and returns to User
Mode.
