4 Using both hands, lift it slightly to remove it from the printer.
5 Remove any shipping tape and spacers.

Skip to step 8.
6 Repeat steps 3–5 for the lower
media tray.
7 Lock the two casters on the bottom
of the HCIF.
Attention
The casters must be locked
so the unit does not roll
unexpectedly while in
operation.
8 Turn off the printer, and then disconnect the power cord and all interface
cables from the printer.
9 With another person’s help, lift
the printer.
Do not tilt it more than 10° in
any direction at any time.

Your printer weighs approximately 77 lbs (35 kg) fully assembled.
Be sure to have help when lifting and moving it.
