Configuring the Printer172
Windows Printing Service
The Network/Ethernet/Windows Printing Service window provides the fol-
lowing parameters for configuration:
Item Description
Enable Windows Print-
ing Service
If selected, enables the parameter settings for Win-
dows printing service.
Default: [Checked]
WorkGroup Name Sets the workgroup name.
Range: Up to 15 characters
Default: WORKGROUP
Host Name Sets the host name.
Range: Up to 15 characters
Default: KMBTxxxxxx (Where x’s are last 6 digits of
MAC Address of the printer).
Printer Name Sets the printer name.
Range: Up to 13 characters
Default: MC2450
Printer Description Sets the printer description.
Range: Up to 32 characters
Default: Windows Printing Service
Submit button Saves and applies any changes made.
Reset button If you made changes to any of the parameter set-
tings but don’t wish to apply the changes, selecting
this button restores the last submitted parameter
settings.
