1 Turn off the printer and disconnect the
power cord and interface cable.
2 Remove the rear panel from the
printer to access the controller board.
Using a screw driver, loosen the nine
screws on the top, left and bottom of
the panel, but do not remove them
from the printer.
3 Remove the two screws shown in the
illustration. Slide the panel slightly to
the right and lift it off the printer.
4 If there is no DIMM installed in your
printer, skip to Step 5. If there is a
DIMM installed, removed it.
a Using both thumbs, pull the
latches (one on each side of the
DIMM connector) outward.
b Lift the DIMM straight out of the
DIMM connector.
