Your printer will print all print jobs at the highest resolution that the installed
memory will support.
Basic Functionality
 The printer comes with one DIMM slot.
Check the configuration page from the control panel (Print Menu/
Configuration Page) or use PageScope Light to make sure the printer has
enough RAM installed.
Installing a DIMM
Attention
It’s very important to protect the printer controller board and any
associated circuit boards from electrostatic damage. Before
performing this procedure, review the antistatic caution on page 149.
In addition, always handle circuit boards by the edges only.

Notes If you attempt to print a job at PCL Enhanced or PostScript
High resolution and you do not have enough memory installed
to support that resolution, the job prints at Standard resolution.
