You hear
unusual
noises.
The printer is not
level.
Put the printer on a flat, hard, level
surface not to exceed ±1° slant in any
direction.
The media tray is not
installed correctly.
Remove the media tray that you are
printing from and reinsert it completely
into the printer.
There is a foreign
object stuck inside the
printer.
Turn off the printer and remove the
object. If you cannot remove it, contact
Service. See the Service & Support
Guide or www.konicaminolta.net/
printer/ for the office closest to you.
The printer
pauses.
The printer pauses for
the color calibration
procedure (also
known as the Auto-
Image Density Control
[AIDC] cycle). The
length of this
automatic cycle
depends on
environmental factors,
number of pages
printed, and whether
a new toner or OPC
drum has been
installed.
This process ensures
reliable printer
operation with
optimum output
quality. If you open
the door before the
display reads
MAGICOLOR 2350
/
IDLE
, the printer
stops and repeats the
calibration cycle.
Wait approximately 150 seconds
after rebooting your printer when
there has been an environmental
change such as in temperature or
humidity.
Wait approximately 170 seconds
after 200 1-sided pages of a
continuous print run.
Wait approximately 215 seconds
when the printer is waking up from
ENERGY SAVER and 1,000 or more
pages have been printed since the
last AIDC cycle.
Wait approximately 305 seconds
after the installation of a new toner
cartridge or OPC drum or if you start
an AIDC cycle manually using the
control panel or PageScope Light.
You cannot
access
PageScope
Light.
Your printer is not
connected to a
network.
Make sure your printer is connected to
your workstation via TCP/IP and that
you are using a supported Internet
browser.
