Potential acute effects
Inhalation Vapours may cause drowsiness and dizziness. Inhalation of high vapour concentrations may
cause symptoms such as mild irritation, headache, dizziness, fatigue, nausea and in serious
cases unconsciousness. Aerosols irritate the respiratory system, and may cause coughing
and difficulties in breathing. Contains organic solvents which in case of overexposure may
depress the central nervous system causing dizziness and intoxication.
Skin contact Prolonged or frequent contact may cause redness, itching, irritation, eczema, skin cracking
and oil acne.
Eye contact May cause temporary eye irritation.
Ingestion May cause nausea, headache, dizziness and intoxication. Pneumonia may be the result if
vomited material containing solvents reaches the lungs.
