Playing back songs
(Standard MIDI Files)
on the PC-80
This chapter explains basic use of the Player function.
For more details, refer to the online help.
The PC-80 software synthesizer provides a Player function that provides 16-
part SMF playback functionality (with 256 sounds and 9 drum sets for GM2
compatibility). This is independent of the sound generator designed for
playing from the PC-80’s keyboard.
You can use this to play back SMF data as according while you play the PC-
80’s keyboard, or enjoy repeated playback of your favorite SMF data.
