OVERVIEW
Air quality affects people health, whether outdoors or indoors.
It’s essential to disclose the real-time status of urban air quality
in public areas, such as schools, hospitals, malls, offices, etc.
So that people can grasp the information and take proper action
according to a health guideline.
Designed by Edimax, the SB-1002W Signal Board is an
innovative digital display board under the Total Air Quality
Solution product series. It intuitively displays the concentration
of ambient air quality data in an apparent visual sign. Not only
providing the value per pollutant types, but the SB-1002W’s
distinct LED colors will also vary by degrees to highlight the air
pollution levels.
Built-in Wi-Fi and RS485 serial communication system, the SB-
1002W can be easily installed in a local area network (LAN) and
reliably connected with any Edimax outdoor/indoor air quality
sensors which collect and transmit air quality data over the
cloud. The SB-1002W updates its display panel according to
ambient data collected every ten seconds. The visualization of
air monitoring is controlled by Edimax air quality sensors’ API
commands and could be customized per requirements of
different SI projects.

Easy Installation and Deployment
No matter if it is indoors or outdoors, installation is straightforward and simple, by connecting to either a functional
indoor or outdoor airbox, information is sent and displayed through the Signal Board, both wirelessly or wired.
