PACKAGE CONTENTS Before you start using this product, please check if there is anything missing in the package, and contact your dealer to claim the missing item(s): Network video recorder (1 pcs) Power adapter (1 pcs) Power cord (1 pcs) CD with utility software and user manual (1 pcs) Quick installation guide (1 pcs) HARDWARE INSTALLATION Step 1: Press the black tab on the hard drive enclosure. Step 2: Pull the lever downward to release the enclosure. Step 3: Pull out the hard drive enclosure.
Step 4: Remove the bracket in the hard drive enclosure as instructed by the arrows. Step 5: Put a 3.5” SATA hard drive in the enclosure. The hard drive’s SATA connector should be located on the left. Step 6: Use screws and a screwdriver to fasten the hard drive to the enclosure. Step 7: Push the hard drive enclosure back into the NVR. The lever should remain open during the process.
Step 8: Push the lever until you hear a click to lock the enclosure into place. Step 9: Connect the power cord to the power adapter. Step 10: Connect the power cord to an electric outlet and insert the adapter’s power plug into the NVR’s power socket. Step 11: Connect this NVR to a router or switch’s LAN port via an Ethernet cable.
Step 12: Power the NVR on. The “POWER” LED on the front panel should light up. If not, check steps 7 to 9 to ensure the power adapter is properly connected. Warning: Do not pull the hard drive out when the NVR is powered on, or data stored on the hard drive will be damaged. ACCESSING THE NVR Step 1: Install the “IP Finder” software in the CD and execute the application.
Step 4: Log in the NVR. The default username is “admin” and the default password is “1234”. Step 5: The browser might ask you to install the ActiveX plug-in. Allow the browser to install the plug-in when prompted or you will not be able to see the videos in the NVR.
