- Trap: The notifications are sent by the SNMP agent
device when a specific parameter is reached by the
device and the trap messages can be improper user
authentication, CPU usage, link status, and other
significant events. This helps the administrator address
network issues.
- Inform: Inform is only available on SNMPv2 and v3.
Security Level
The security level of SNMP including,
- No security: Unsecured SNMP requests
- Authentication: Confirmation of the sender's identity
and of the timeliness of the request, with the content of
the request visible to the network.
- Authentication and privacy: With the content of the
request encrypted.
Server Port
Enter the server port (1-65535)
Timeout
Set default timeout value.
Retry
Set default retry number.

Facility
The Facility value is a way of determining which process
of the machine created the message.
Minimum Severity
The system log SNMP severity command sets the
minimum severity level of log events sent as SNMP
traps. Log events of lower severity are not sent.
