I-3. LED-status Alle LED's zijn uitgeschakeld in de groene-modus. I-4. Switch De EW-7478AC is voorzien van een hardware schuifschakelaar aan de onderkant van het apparaat, deze kan schakelen tussen normaal, groene modus en uit, zoals aangegeven in de tabel hieronder. “Wi-Fi power ” geeft de sterkte van het draadloze radiosignaal (Tx) aan. Als u de extender gebruikt in een kleine of middelgrote ruimte, hebt u wellicht niet de volledige sterkte van het draadloze signaal nodig. Probeer het en bepaal of u nog steeds voldoende Wi-Fi dekking hebt als u de groene modus gebruikt.
II. Installatie De EW-7478AC heeft drie verschillende gebruiksmodi: Wi-Fi Extender Het apparaat maakt verbinding met uw bestaande netwerk en herhaalt het draadloze signaal. Locatie: De beste locatie voor uw extender is ongeveer in het midden tussen uw bestaande draadloze router/acces point en de dode zone. De extender moet een goed Wi-Fi signaal ontvangen van uw router/acces point.
2. De groene power LED knippert terwijl de extender opstart. Het apparaat is gereed als de groene power LED aan is. 3. Gebruik een Wi-Fi apparaat om verbinding te maken met het SSID “EdimaxEXT.Setup ** ”. De laatste twee ** tekens zijn uniek voor uw apparaat. Verwijder wanneer u een computer gebruikt a.u.b. alle ethernetkabels. 4. Open een web browser en als u niet automatisch naar het “Get Started ” scherm geleid wordt, voert u deze URL in http://edimaxext.
Als u geen toegang krijgt tot http://edimaxext.setup, controleer dan of uw computer een dynamisch IP-adres gebruikt. Voor meer informatie verwijzen we u naar de gebruikershandleiding. 5. Om een andere modus te gebruiken, klik op “Change to a Different Mode (Omschakelen naar een andere modus) ”. Of selecteer “Yes, I need a Range Extender (Ja, ik heb een Range Extender nodig) ” om verder te gaan met de setup als Wi-Fi extender.
6. Volg de instructies op het scherm voor de modus die u hebt geselecteerd om de set-up te voltooien. U kunt het product configureren voor 2,4 GHz en/of 5GHz Wi-Fi. 7. Na de setup kunt u de EdiRange app downloaden door de QR code te scannen, zoals hieronder afgebeeld. De EdiRange app biedt u de mogelijkheid om functies zoals Wi-Fi scheduling en gast netwerk in te stellen wanneer u de extender modus gebruikt.

III. De extender resetten Als u problemen ondervind met uw extender, of als u de extender wilt omschakelen naar een andere modus, kunt u het apparaat resetten naar de fabrieksinstellingen. Hiermee worden alle instellingen teruggezet naar standaard. 1. Houd de WPS-knop tenminste 10 seconden ingedrukt en laat los als de groene voedings-LED knippert. 2.Wacht tot de extender herstart. De extender is gereed voor set-up als de groene power led aan weergeeft. IV.
3. De apparaten zetten een verbinding op. De groene WPS LED van de extender moet 30 seconden 'aan' weergeven zijn om een geslaagde verbinding aan te geven.
