OVERVIEW
The EN-9225TX-E is a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet PCI
Express Server Adapter designed for the high-speed
PCI Express bus architecture. It supports 3-speed
2.5G,1G, and 100Mbps network connection with
auto-negotiation. The EN-9225TX-E provides an
ideal selection as a convenient addition, upgrade or
replacement for your server, workstation or computer
network connection for high-performance, low-power
consumption, and better-quality.
With the benefits of low-latency, high-throughput and
cost-effective, the EN-9225TX-E meets the
bandwidth-intensive requirements such as large file
transfers, HD video editing and online gaming, while
utilizes high-performance speeds and shared storage
system to have improved server efficiency and
network performance.

Equipped with one 2.5 Gigabit RJ45, the EN-9225TX-E is capable of providing 2.5 times better performance than
existing Gigabit transmissions. The adapter is a capable server NIC for your networks that supports up to 20Gbps full-
duplex bandwidth capacity. With the PCI Express rev. 2.0 specification x1 interface, the EN-9225TX-E provides an
optimal PCI Express upgrade solution to the mainboard.
High-Performance Advanced Features and Security
The EN-9225TX-E supports 802.1Q Virtual LAN (VLAN) tagging for Ethernet frames, allowing the network
administrator to assign multiple subnets to each server for better traffic management which provides flexible operation
while having a secure and simple network environment. In addition, the EN-9225TX-E supports other advanced
features such as 16K Jumbo Frame to maximize the throughput, Quality-of-Service (QoS) technology to allow network
administrator to prioritize bandwidth for a smooth connection experience, IEEE 802.3x Flow Control to avoid risks of
packet loss for best performance in data transfer and IP, TCP, DUP checksum offloading to transfer to checksum
processing tasks to the EN-9225TX-E network card to reduce CPU processing burden with improved throughputs.

With 2.5Gbps high-speed, Edimax EN-9225TX-E adapter offers cost-effective solution on 2.5 Gigabit network
connection. The EN-9225TX-E offers high speed 2.5Gbps transmission over CAT5e or better cables, RJ-45 cabling
without the need to rewire the infrastructure to fiber. Designed with the 2.5Gbps high-speed technology, the EN-
9225TX-E is completely compatible with IEEE 802.3bz (NBASE-T) networking standard, which supports 2.5G, 1Gbps
and 100Mbps existing copper network of CAT5e or better cabling.
