I-5. Reset Als u problemen ondervindt met uw access point dan kunt u het apparaat terugzetten naar de standaard fabrieksinstellingen. Hierdoor worden alle instellingen teruggezet naar de standaard instellingen. 1. Druk op de resetknop op het access point en houd deze ten minste gedurende 10 seconden ingedrukt, laat daarna de knop los. Wellicht moet u een speld of gelijksoortig scherp object gebruiken om de resetknop in te drukken. 2. Wacht tot het access point opnieuw opstart.
II. Snelle setup Uw access point kan klaar voor gebruik zijn in slechts enkele minuten. Deze snelstartgids helpt u met het instellen van uw access point en configureert de basis instellingen. Volg a.u.b. de instructies in de onderstaande hoofdstukken: II-1. Eerste set-up 1. Sluit het access point aan op een computer door middel van een ethernet-kabel. 2.
. U wordt gevraagd een gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord in te voeren. Voer de standaard gebruikersnaam “admin” en het standaard wachtwoord “1234” in. 7. U gaat nu naar het "Systeem informatie" scherm zoals hieronder weergegeven.
8. Volg nu a.u.b. de onderstaande instructies in II-2. "Basic Settings (Basis Instellingen)" om de basis instellingen van het access point te configureren. II-2. Basis-instellingen De onderstaande instructies helpen u met het configureren van de basis instellingen van het access point: - LAN IP-adres 2.4GHz & 5GHz SSID & beveiliging Beheerdersnaam & wachtwoord Tijd & datum Wij raden aan dat u deze instellingen eerst configureert voordat u het access point gebruikt. 1.
3. Om het SSID van uw access point 2.4GHz draadloze netwerk(en) te wijzigen, gaat u naar "Wireless Setting > 2.4GHz 11bgn > Basic (Draadloze Instellingen > 2.4GHz 11bgn > Basis)". Voer de nieuwe SSID in voor uw 2.4GHz draadloze netwerk in het “SSID1” veld en klik op "Apply (Toepassen)". Open om meerdere 2.4GHz SSID's te gebruiken het drop-down menu "Enable SSID number (SSID nummer activeren)" en selecteer hoeveel SSID's u nodig hebt.
5. Ga naar "Wireless Setting > 5GHz 11ac 11an (Draadloze Instellingen > 5GHz 11ac an)" en volg stap 3 & 4 voor het 5GHz draadloze netwerk van het access point. 6. Ga naar "Management > Admin (Beheer > Beheerder)" om de beheerdersnaam en het wachtwoord van de browser based configuratie-interface te wijzigen. 7. Vul de "Administrator Name (Beheerdersnaam)" en "Administrator Password (Beheerderswachtwoord" velden in en klik op "Apply (Toepassen)". 8.
9. Stel de juiste tijd en tijdzone in voor uw access point door middel van de drop-down menu's. Het access point ondersteunt ook NTP (Network Time Protocol), dus u kunt ook de hostnaam of IP-adres van een tijdserver invoeren. Klik op "Apply (Toepassen)" als u klaar bent. U kunt ook de "Acquire Current Time from your PC (Huidige tijd van uw PC verkrijgen)" knop gebruiken als u de tijd van uw PC wilt instellen in uw access point. 10. De basis instellingen van uw access point zijn nu geconfigureerd. Zie a.
III. Hardware installatie 1.Verwijder wanneer nodig de klep aan de onderkant van het acces point. Zo heeft u meer ruimte om de kabels door te voeren. 2.Verbind een router of PoE switch met de LAN poort van het acces point door middel van een ethernetkabel. 3. Als u een router gebruikt, steek dan de voedingsadapter in de 12V DC voedingspoort van het access point en steek de voedingsadapter in een stopcontact. 4.
IV. Browser based configuratie-interface De browser based configuratie-interface bied u de mogelijkheid om de geavanceerde functies van het access point te configureren. De CAP1200 is voorzien van een reeks geavanceerde functies, zoals MAC filtering, MAC RADIUS authenticatie, VLAN configuraties, tot 32 SSID's en nog veel meer. Om toegang te krijgen tot de browser based configuratie-interface: 1. Verbind een computer met uw access point door middel van een ethernetkabel. 2.
5.Gebruik de menu's aan de boven- en linkerkant van het scherm om te navigeren. 6. Klik op "Apply (Toepassen)" om wijzigingen op te slaan en het access point opnieuw te laden, of op "Cancel (Annuleren)" om de wijzigingen te wissen. Wacht a.u.b. een aantal seconden tot het access point opnieuw is geladen nadat u wijzigingen toepast, zoals hieronder aangegeven. 7. Raadpleeg a.u.b. de gebruikershandleiding voor de volledige beschrijvingen van de browser based configuratie-interface functies.
