Installation 1. Verbinden Sie den BR-6288ACL mit dem beigefügten Netzteil bzw. mit einem USB-Kabel. Der BR-6288ACL benötigt 1 A Strom - überzeugen Sie sich bitte davon, dass Ihr USB-Anschluss genügend Strom liefern kann. Wenn nicht, benutzen Sie den 5 V-DC-Adapter. 2. Warten Sie, bis die runde LED unten am Gerät "Orange/Rot" blinkt. 3. Verwenden Sie ein WLAN-Gerät (z.B. Computer, Tablet, Smartphone), um nach einem Wi-Fi-Netzwerk mit dem Namen "edimax.setup" zu suchen und sich damit zu verbinden.

Und wenn Sie nicht automatisch auf den unten gezeigten "Get Started"-Bildschirm gelangen, geben Sie die URL http://edimax.setup ein und klicken Sie zum einrichten auf “ Erste Schritte”. Wenn Sie nicht auf http://edimax.setup zugreifen können, überzeugen Sie sich bitte davon, dass Ihr WLAN-Gerät für die Verwendung einer dynamischen IP-Adresse eingestellt ist.
Die fünf verfügbaren Modi des BR-6288ACL sind nachfolgend aufgeführt: WLAN-Router-Modus Access Point-Modus Bereichserweiterer-Modus Wireless Bridge-Modus WISP-Modus Dieses Gerät stellt eine Verbindung zu Ihrem Modem her und aktiviert den 2,4 GHz bzw. 5 GHz Internetzugang (WLAN und Ethernet) für Ihre Netzwerkeinrichtung. Das Gerät verbindet sich über Ethernetkabel mit einem vorhandenen Router und aktiviert den 2,4 GHz bzw. 5 GHz Internetzugang.
RJ-45 Splitter-Kabel Zum Lieferumfang des BR-6288ACL gehört ein RJ-45 Splitter-Kabel. Dies lässt sich in den "Network"-Anschluss des BR-6288ACL einstecken und teilt ihn in zwei separate Ethernet-Anschlüsse auf – und bietet so zwei Anschlüsse statt einem, wie unten gezeigt. Im Modus WLAN-Router ist ein Anschluss der WAN-Anschluss (Internet). Der WAN-Anschluss wird direkt mit Ihrem Modem verbunden. Im Modus WLAN-Router ist der andere Anschluss der LAN-Anschluss.
WLAN-Schalter Nach dem Setup können Sie den WLAN-Schalter verwenden, um bei Bedarf die Funkstärke des BR-6288ACL anzupassen. Im Normalbetrieb werden volle 100% SIgnalstärke verwendet, im Energiesparmodus 25%. Im Bereichserweiterer-Modus kann das schwache WLAN-Signal des BR-6288ACL wiederum durch ein schwaches Signal Ihres bestehenden Routers verursacht werden. Es ist wichtig, einen guten Standort für den BR-6288ACL in Bezug auf Ihren vorhandenen WLAN-Router zu wählen.
