W ireless L AN AP Configuration
Start IP/End IP
You c an designate a particular IP
address range for your DHCP server to
issue IP addresses to your LAN Clients.
By default the IP range is from: Start IP
192.168. 2.100 to End IP 192. 168.2. 200.
Domain Name
You c an specif y the Domai n Name for
your Acc ess Point.
Leas e Time
The DHCP Server when enabled will
temporaril y g ive your LAN client an I P
address . I n the Leas e Time s etting you
can s pecify t he time period that t he
DHCP Server lends an IP address to
your LAN clients. The DHCP Ser ver will
change your LAN client’s IP address
when this ti me thres hold period is
reache d.
Click Apply butt on at the bottom of the screen to save t he
above configurations. You can now configure other advanc e
sections or st art using the Access Point.
3.2. 7 Configuration Tool
The Configuration Tools screen allows you to s ave (Backup)
the Access Point’s current config uratio n set ting. S aving the
configuration settings provi des an added pro tecti on and
convenienc e s houl d pro blems occ ur with the Access Poi nt
and you have to res et t o factor y def ault . When you save t he
configuration setting (Bac kup) you c an re-load the saved
configuration into t he Access Poi nt t hrough the Restore
selection. If extreme problems occ ur you can us e t he R estore
to Factory Default selection, this will set all configurations to
its orig inal def ault s etti ngs (e.g. when you first purchased the
Access Point).
