W PA pre-shared key
Wi-Fi Protect ed Access ( WPA) is an advanced s ecurit y
standard. You can use a pr e-shared key to authenticate
wireless st ations and encr ypt data during communicati on. It
uses TK IP t o change the e ncryption key frequentl y. T his can
improve security very much.
Parameter Description
WPA(TKIP)
TKIP can change the encryption key
frequentl y to enhanc e t he wireless LAN
security.
WPA2(AES)
This use CCMP protoc ol t o change
encr yptio n key frequentl y. AES can
provide high level encr yption to
enhanc e the wireless LAN s ecurity.
WPA2 Mixed
This will use TKIP or AES based on the
other communication peer
automaticall y.
