3. Set the share folders of the USB storage device, which are allowed to
access by authorized users in the “Storage Server” menu of “FTP/File
Server” page.
 Set the following information to identify your USB storage device on the
network.
Storage Name: By default the storage name is the last 6-digit of MAC
ID with prefixes “MS”.
Workgroup: The default workgroup is “WORKGROUP”.
Description: The device name displayed in “My Network Places”.
Follow the default settings, you will find a device “NAS System
(MS334455)” from workgroup computers in “My Network Places” of the
Windows.
 Please assign the shared folders and the user’s read/write authority.
Folder Name: Enter the name for shared folder.
Path: Designated the shared folder path or enable to share all folders in
the storage.
Description: The comments or description for the shared folder.
User: Assign users with read/write authority for the shared folder.
Read/Write: Select “Read Only” or “Read/Write”.
Note: You can not set sharing policy here for folders in NTFS partitions.
