1. Alwaysplugthepowerlineadapterdirectlyintoapowersocket.Neverplug
itintoamultiplesocketoruninterruptiblepowersupply(UPS).



2. Ifyouneedtouseamultiplesocketforadditionalnetworkdevices,
thenconnectthemultiplesockettotheintegratedpowersocketofthe
adapter,andplugthepowerlinedirectlyintoapowersocket,asshown
below.Thepowersocketoftheadapterfeaturesafilterfunctionwhichis
abletoimprovethedatatransmissioninthenetwork.



3. Pleasenotethat200Mbps(EdimaxHP‐200xseries)and500Mbps(Edimax
HP‐500xseries)powerlineadaptersareabletocommunicatedirectlywith
oneanother.200Mbpsand500Mbpspowerlineadapterscanbeusedon
thesamehouseholdelectricwiringas14Mbps&85Mbpspowerline
adapters(EdimaxHP‐85XXseries)without
interfering,butarenotableto
communicatedirectlywith14Mbpsand85Mbpspowerlineadapters.
