E. Enter the Read-Only Community.
This is the community string that the management station uses when accessing
read-only objects from the 4200. The default is 'public'.
F. Enter the System Location.
This is a comment string that can be used to indicate the location of the 4200. By
default, no value is set.
G. Enter the System Contact.
This is the administrative contact information for the 4200. By default, no value is
set.
H. Enter the SNMP Port.
This is the port that the 4200 uses for SNMP communications with the network
management system. The default is 161.
I. Press Submit.
Disable SNMP
A. Select System.
B. Select System Overview.
C. Select Services Configuration.
D. Uncheck the Enable SNMP checkbox.
E. Press Submit.
Enable Remote System Logging
The 4200 can be configured to log system messages to an external syslog server.
A. Select System.
B. Select System Overview.
C. Select Services Configuration.
D. Select the Enable Remote System Logging checkbox.
E. Enter the IP address of the Remote Syslog Host.
F. Press Submit.
Disable Remote System Logging
A. Select System.
B. Select System Overview.
C. Select Services Configuration.
D. Uncheck the Enable Remote System Logging checkbox.
E. Press Submit.
