Connecting to a Power Source

CONNECTING TO A POWER SOURCE
An external 48 VDC power supply must be connected to the DC power connector
on the rear panel of the switch.

:
SFP transceivers are hot-swappable. The switch does not need to
be powered off before installing or removing a transceiver. However,
always first disconnect the network cable before removing a
transceiver.

:
SFP transceivers are not provided in the switch package.

ARNING
:
Before wiring the DC plug or connecting power to the switch,
ensure that power to the feed lines is turned off at the supply circuit
breaker or disconnected from the power bus.
