Creating QoS Policies
– 257
Drop
– Drops out of conformance traffic.
Priority
– The priority assigned to the designated traffic flow. (Range: 0-1000;
Default: None)
Configure Bundle
Policy Name
– Name of policy map. (Range: 1-32 characters)
Index
– Index for group of class maps. (Range: 1-3)
Bundle Rate
– Maximum flow rate for a group of traffic flows.
(Range: 0-1,000,000 kbps)
The bundle rate will only take effect if the meter mode is set to one of the flow
options (Flow, srTCM, or trTCM), and the violate action is set to drop any traffic
exceeding the specified bundle rate.
After binding a policy map for a traffic flow bundle to an interface, the switch
will monitor the ingress rate for the bundle once every second.
Class Map Name
– Name of a class map. (Range: 1-32 characters)
Web Interface
To configure a policy map:
1.
Click Traffic, DiffServ.
2.
Select Configure Policy from the Step list.
3.
Select Add from the Action list.
4.
Enter a policy name.
5.
Enter a description.
6.
Click Add.
