Description of Hardware

FAN TRAY
A removable fan tray on the right side of the front panel contains three fans that
provide cooling for the chassis. The following figure shows the fan tray removed
from the switch

Link/Activity
(Ports 1-24,
P25, P26)
Green Port has a valid link.
Flashing Green Flashing indicates activity on the port.
Off The link is down.
Power Module
*
48V/+12V,
or AC/+12V
Green DC or AC power is functioning normally.
Off External power not connected or has failed.
* The -48V/AC LEDs on the left indicate the status of external power. The +12V LED
on the right indicates the status of the internal power conversion process.
