PORT AND SYSTEM STATUS LEDS
This switch includes a display panel for key system and port indications that
simplifies installation and network troubleshooting. The LEDs, which are located
on the front panel and the power module trays for easy viewing, are shown
below and described in the following tables.

LED Condition Status
Crit Red Indicates the presence within the system of one or
more critical traffic-affecting system alarms that are
not masked by the alarm filter.
Maj Amber Indicates the presence within the system of one or
more major traffic-affecting system alarms that are
not masked by the alarm filter.
Fan Red Indicates failure of one or more fans.
Status Flashing Green System self-diagnostic test in progress.
Green System self-diagnostic test successfully completed.
Off System self-diagnostic test has detected a fault.
Mgmt Green Port has a valid link.
Flashing Green Flashing indicates activity on the port.
Off The link is down.
