Default Setting

Command Usage
This command can be used to indicate the usefulness of this router as a default
router on this interface.
Set the router lifetime to 0 to indicate that this router should not be considered
a default router. Set the lifetime to a non-zero value to indicate that it should be
considered a default router. When a non-zero value is used, the lifetime should
not be less than the router advertisement interval.
Example
The following sets the router lifetime to 8000 seconds:
Console(config)#interface vlan 1
Console(config)#ipv6 nd ra lifetime 8000
Console(config)#

router-preference
This command configures the default router preference for the router on an
interface. Use the no form to restore the default setting.
Syntax
ipv6 nd ra router-preference {high | medium | low}
no ipv6 nd ra router-preference
high - Preference for the router is high.
medium - Preference for the router is medium.
low - Preference for the router is low.

Default router preference may be used to prioritize routers which provide
equivalent, but not equal-cost, routing, and policy dictates that hosts should prefer
one of the routers.
