Using the Ping Function

Parameters
These parameters are displayed:
Host Name/IP Address – IPv4/IPv6 address or alias of the host.
Probe Count – Number of packets to send. (Range: 1-16)
Data Size – Number of bytes in a packet. (Range: 32-512 bytes for IPv4, 0-1500
bytes for IPv6)
The actual packet size will be eight bytes larger than the size specified because
the switch adds header information.
Web Interface
To ping another device on the network:
1. Click Tools, Ping.
2. Specify the target device and ping parameters.
3. Click Apply.
