DHCP Server

ip dhcp
excluded-address
This command specifies IP addresses that the DHCP server should not assign to
DHCP clients. Use the no form to remove the excluded IP addresses.
Syntax
[no] ip dhcp excluded-address low-address [high-address]
low-address - An excluded IP address, or the first IP address in an excluded
address range.
high-address - The last IP address in an excluded address range.
Default Setting
All IP pool addresses may be assigned.

ip dhcp pool This command configures a DHCP address pool and enter DHCP Pool Configuration
mode. Use the no form to remove the address pool.
Syntax
[no] ip dhcp pool name
name - A string or integer. (Range: 1-32 characters)
Default Setting
DHCP address pools are not configured.

Usage Guidelines
After executing this command, the switch changes to DHCP Pool Configuration
mode, identified by the (config-dhcp)# prompt.
From this mode, first configure address pools for the network interfaces (using
the network command). You can also manually bind an address to a specific
client (with the host command) if required. You can configure up to 8 network
address pools, and up to 32 manually bound host address pools (i.e., listing one
host address per pool). However, note that any address specified in a host
command must fall within the range of a configured network address pool.
