To order a license, you must provide the following information to Edgecore:
◆ Switch model number (for example, ECS4100-12T)
◆ System MAC address. Enter the show system command from the console port
to display this information.

To install a license, first verify that the switch is configured with a valid IP address
(see “Setting an IP Address” on page 55).
Download the corresponding license file as shown in the following example using
the file type number “21”. Note that the license file is named according to the
device MAC address. The network ports will be automatically activated within two
minutes after successful installation.
