power download filename
filename - Name of the PoE chip firmware. (Range: 1-32 characters)

Command Usage
◆ Periodically, Edgecore will provide new PoE chip firmware. Only Edgecore PoE
chip firmware can be downloaded using the “power download” command.
◆ The PoE firmware file must be copied to the switch as a “config” file type and
not
as would be expected an “opcode” file. For example, when transferring the
file to the switch from a TFTP server and the CLI interface replies with the
message “Choose file type” as shown below, make sure to respond with “1”
the “config” file type.
Console#copy tftp file
TFTP server IP address: 192.168.2.243 Choose file type:
1. config; 2. opcode: 1
Source file name: 22021119_0816_003.s19

Caution: Do not attempt to download a PoE firmware file retrieved from a chip
vendor. Only the Edgecore version of the file will function with this command.
Example
This example shows how to copy the special PoE chip firmware file from a tftp
server to the switch. The file is subsequently downloaded to the chip using the
“power download” command from the global configuration level.
Console#copy tftp file
TFTP server IP address: 192.168.2.243
Choose file type:
1. config; 2. opcode: 1
Source file name: 22021119_0816_003.s19
Destination file name: 22021119_0816_003.s19
