Interface Configuration
interface This command configures an interface type and enters interface configuration
mode. Use the no form with a trunk to remove an inactive interface. Use the no
form with a Layer 3 VLAN (normal type) to change it back to a Layer 2 interface.
Note:
A VLAN must first be configured using the vlan database command before
its VLAN interface can be entered. Other interface types do not need to be
configured beforehand.
Note:
The switch supports a maximum binding of 8 addresses to a VLAN interface.
The 8 is shared between IPv4 and IPv6. If 6 IPv4 addresses are bound to the VLAN
interface, only two IPv6 address could be bound.
