1.0 Introduction

AS4600-54T consists of 48 10/100/1000 Base-T ports with additional 4 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports.

There are two optional expansion modules which supports 2*40G stacking or uplink ports on

the rear panel. The management port on the front panel can be used to download the software.

4.0 Software/Firmware Fixes, Changes, and Enhancements

1. ONIE Installer

Ver. 2014.08.00.10, 2014/10/23

Added support for inserting kernel modules for updaters and installers running on

2014.08.00.10 or later, to do CPLD update.

Added support for writing “sys_eeprom” for updaters and installers running on

2014.08.00.10 or later, to update “sys_eeprom”. Also, implemented (starting from

2014.08.00.10) actually updating “sys_eeprom” when running on ONIE which supports

doing this (2014.08.00.10). This means that if you are running 2014.08.00.08, you need to

update first to 2014.08.00.10 to support writing “sys_eeprom”, and then, while running

ONIE 2014.08.00.10, run the installer for 2014.08.00.10 again to actually update the

“sys_eeprom”.

Changed all partitions to read/write, so that, in the future, e.g., RCW may be updated via

ONIE.

Disabled the driver for PHY interrupts, so that for hardware versions R01D and later (e.g.

R01E), the management port can link up in ONIE.

Increased the time-out when ONIE starts when waiting for autonegotiation of the

managament port.
