6 AP Management
The ECWO5110 includes a management agent that allows you to configure or
monitor the AP using its embedded management software. To manage the AP, you
can make a direct connection to the console port (out-of-band), or you can manage
it through a network connection (in-band) using Telnet, Secure Shell (SSH), a web
browser, or SNMP-based network management software.
For a detailed description of the AP’s software features, refer to the ECWO5110
Management Guide.
The ECWO5110-L supports network management from a EWS4502 wireless access
controller through the Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points
(CAPWAP) protocol.
For manual static set up of the AP, you can also make a direct connection to the
console port (out-of-band) using the included console cable.
For a detailed description of the AP’s software features, refer to the EWS4502
Administrator’s Guide or CLI Command Reference.
