NETWORK AGGREGATION PLAN
With 26 parallel bridging ports (i.e., 26 distinct collision domains), these
switches can collapse a complex network down into a single efficient bridged
node, increasing overall bandwidth and throughput.
In the figure below, the 10/100BASE-TX ports on the switch are providing 100
Mbps connectivity for up to 24 segments, while the 1000BASE-T ports are
providing connectivity for two Gigabit segments.
