Focus on customer orientation
Consumers refuse to compromise – and the same goes for us! That's why, for over 50 years,
we have been committed to one thing: satisfying our customers' needs.
Whilst it was once mainly warehouse workers and forwarding agents who used edding markers
to label bags and boxes, today we have millions of fans all around the world with the most diverse
range of demands and expectations when it comes to writing and labelling. We achieve this
with our edding “special-purpose pens” which, owing to special inks and other product features,
are all individually tailored for a specific use. Our range is no longer limited to permanent markers
but also includes, for example, non-hazardous products with food colouring-based inks which
are particularly suited for children, intelligent solutions for DIY enthusiasts and products which
are required to meet very specific demands in the fields of industry and research.
Yet all of our markers have two important features in common – their durability and outstanding
quality. That applies not only to the ink but to the pens as well. It comes as no surprise then,
that we often receive letters such as that from one women who found an old pack of edding
fibrepens which she had used as a child in a removal box. Today it is her children who use them
to colour in! And who knows – maybe one day even her grandchildren.
As such, it is fitting that we keep an eye on tomorrow's world. After all, the harmony between
commercial operations and environmental responsibility is a key element of our company
philosophy. Our policy of protecting the environment begins with the production and continues
through to retail, where, for example, edding presents products in environmentally friendly
packaging. Our markers are, for the most part, refillable; moreover, we also extend the life of
our products with replaceable tips. The EcoLine range represents the next step in our commit-
ment to the environment. Further information can be found online at www.edding.com.
