Chapter 8 Transmitting and Exporting ECGs
To transmit ECGs to server:
1. Log in to the FTP receiving software (including EDAN’s SE-1515) on your PC.
2. Turn on electrocardiograph.
3. Configure the transmission setup.
1) Find Ethernet Setting shortcut in the drop-down menu.
2) Turn on the Ethernet switch
3) Set Local IP, Gateway, and Subnet Mask. Or alternatively, select Auto Get IP.
4) Save Settings
4. Configure SFTP server in System Setting > Transmission Setting > Server Setting.
1) Set the Order Server, Server Address, Port number.
2) Set the SFTP Server, Server Address, Port number, SFTP User Name, SFTP
Password.
The SFTP User Name and SFTP Password should allow access to the FTP server.
The SFTP Path should lead to the subdirectory available under the FTP root
directory.
5. Return to ECG File tab.
6. Tap . Select the ECGs you want to transmit. Or tap Select All to select all the
ECGs.
7. Tap again to upload the ECGs to the server.
NOTE:
1. You can transmit ECGs to the server with TCP/IP protocol via Ethernet, WIFI or
mobile network (4G).
2. Ethernet is the primary transmission method. When the wired network is not available,
you can choose WIFI or 4G to transmit ECGs.
3. Correct sever Setting are a prerequisite for transmitting ECGs.
4. For more information about FTP server, consult your network administrator.
5. Please refer to A1.5 Performance Specifications for WIFI and 4G specifications.
6. Do not talk on the phone or send messages when you are using your 4G card for
ECG upload. Otherwise ECG transmission will be affected.
7. If the server is unavailable, the ECGs transfer will fail, and ECGs that fail to transmit
will be flagged. The ECGs saved in device can be transmitted again after the server is
