patient data will be loaded and displayed in the Patient tab. You have to configure the
barcode before scanning to get the correct data. For information, see 7.3 Patient
Information Setting.
4.4.3 Barcode scanner
1. Configure the barcode scanner.
2. For information about configuring the barcode scanner, please contact the
manufacturer or your local distributor.
3. Connect the barcode scanner to the USB interface on the right of the
electrocardiograph.
4. Open the Patient Information dialog box, and scan the patient's barcode with the
barcode scanner. The patient information will appear in the text box.
NOTE:
• Only bar code readers recommended by the manufacturer can be used.
• One-dimensional scanner: Motorola LS4208 and ZEBRA DS2208-HC0000BZZRW.
• Two-dimensional scanner: Honeywell Xenon1900GSR, Honeywell 1950GSR-2-INT,
Newland NLS-HR22+, and Newland NLS-HR32-SR.
4.5 Retrieving Orders from Server
1. Tap In the Patient tab. Select Order Server. Enter the IP or URL of the server and
tap OK.
2. Tap again. Select Download Setting. The following window opens.
a) Turn Order Retrieve on.
b) Select the Default keyword for order querying from the drop-down menu.
c) Type the Order Date, Department, or Exam Room as appropriate.
d) If needed, configure these settings: Auto-Download and the downloading interval,
Check the patient information before ECG sampling, Order Date, Department,
Exam Room.
e) When finished, tap OK.
3. Single download:
Tap , and the New Patient window opens. Enter the keyword for order querying
you have set up in step 2. Tap the system will download patient data with the order
from the server. The patient data is now available in the Patient tab.
