d. Press <Set> key and the default angle β and inclination line comes out.
e. Use the trackball to place the inclination line and rotate the Angle knob to adjust the angle β.
4. Press <Set> key to complete the measurement.
5. If the age of the patient is entered, dislocation type will also be displayed in the result window.
Evaluate the type of hip joint according to the Graf method, as shown in the table below.

Hip Joint d/D Ratio Measurement:
Hip Joint d/D Ratio measurement is intended to measure the percentage of the femoral head
coverage under the iliac bone roof.
To use Hip Joint d/D Ratio measurement:
1. Invoke the B-mode Measure function.
2. Select HIP->HIP d/D on the touch screen and then select Left or Right on the touch screen. A
single caliper will be displayed on the image field.
3. Add the baseline along the iliac bone by the method of measuring distance with two points.
4. Press <Set> key, and a second line displays below the baseline. Move the second line to make it
be tangent to the femoral head, and the "d" distance comes out.
5. Press <Set> key, and a third line displays above the baseline. Move the third line to make it be
tangent to the femoral head, and the "D" distance and "d/D" ratio come out.
