THE PROBLEM
Each year thousands of tons of material is
produced as a result of the treatment of
municipal wastewater.
Without a viable home, this material
once ended up in a waste stream.
how to apply
Determine the square footage of your area to be treated. Measure the length and width in feet, then multiply to determine your
coverage area in square feet. For lawns, divide your coverage area by 2,500 sq. ft. to determine the number of bags needed.
Use the spreader settings chart to determine the appropriate setting. The annual product application rate should not be
exceeded.
Apply evenly over dry grass avoiding streaks, skips and overlaps. Complete coverage of
your lawn is important.
Reduce nutrient runoff into waterways by sweeping any product that lands on driveway, sidewalk, or street back onto your
lawn. Avoid application to areas that flood, wetlands, or into surface water.
