6.4 LED for battery module status
green Battery module is being charged
LED off Battery module is fully charged
red Error! Time out or Overvoltage. Disconnect the desktop charger from
the mains power and remove the battery pack. Then re-insert the
battery pack you removed. If the LED continues to light red after re-
connection to the mains power the battery pack is defective. Do not
continue using this battery pack!
red flashing Error! Temperature too high. The max. charging temperature of +40°C
(+104°F) is exceeded. Disconnect the desktop charger from the mains
power and remove the battery pack. Allow it to cool down for at least
30 mins. Then re-insert the battery pack. If the LED flashes red again,
please check the ambient temperature and repeat the cool down pro-
cedure.
Please refer to the phone‘s display for information regarding the charge status of the
battery mounted to the phone.
7. Repair
Repairs are to be conducted by ecom instruments GmbH or by personnel or service
centers authorized by ecom instruments GmbH, because the safety of the unit needs to
be tested after repairs are complete. The actual repair report sheet can be downloaded
from the service area at www.ecom-ex.com.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and storage
- Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning agents or strong detergents to clean the device.
- It is recommended that you have the functionality of the unit inspected by the manu-
facturer every two years.
- The mobile phone and/or battery module should be removed from the unit during
prolonged periods of storage.
- Do not allow storage temperatures to exceed or fall below the permitted range speci-
fied in section 5 “Specifications”!
