You can access the phone using Bluetooth and USB
Setting Up Bluetooth Connectivity
Bluetooth is a wireless connection that enables devices to exchange information. Devices within
a range of 10 meters can be connected using Bluetooth technology.
The Sonim XP STRIKE IS is compliant with Bluetooth specification 2.0 and supports the
following profiles: HFP, HSP, GAVDP, AVRCP, OPP, and A2DP. This device can send images
and audio files using Bluetooth connection.
Note: There may be restrictions on using Bluetooth technology in some locations. Check with
your local authorities or service providers.
Activate Bluetooth
You must first turn Bluetooth on in order to use it. Follow the instructions below to activate
Bluetooth in your phone.
Select Menu (left selection key) > Settings > Bluetooth > Bluetooth. Use the menu
key to toggle between on and off. When Bluetooth is activated, the Bluetooth icon is
displayed in the status bar.
Deactivate Bluetooth
Follow the instructions below to disable Bluetooth.
Select Menu (left selection key) > Settings > Bluetooth > Bluetooth > Off.
Active Bluetooth Devices
Follow the instructions below to view the list of Bluetooth car kits and headsets connected to
your phone.
Select Menu (left selection key) > Settings > Bluetooth > Active devices.
Pairing Bluetooth Devices
You can pair to phone to other Bluetooth devices. Phones paired with your Sonim XP STRIKE
IS will be displayed under Paired Devices in the Bluetooth menu.
Note: Prior to pairing the devices, ensure that the visibility settings for the pairing devices are
activated. To activate the visibility settings, select Menu (left selection key) > Settings >
Bluetooth > Visibility > On.
Follow the instructions below to pair with another device.
