Complete instructions for setting up and installing

the Ring Retrofit Alarm Kit can be found at:

Do not attempt to install this device without ﬁrst reading the

instructions on ring.com/retroﬁt.

We want you to successfully install this device. To do this, you’ll

need to complete a thorough pre-install inspection and test your

existing wired alarm panel before you can begin the in-app setup

and wiring process. All of this is outlined at ring.com/retroﬁt.

If you skip any of the steps listed on ring.com/retroﬁt, you may

not be able to get the Ring Retroﬁt Alarm Kit to work.

Working with electricity can be dangerous unless

proper safety precautions are taken. If you are not

comfortable or are inexperienced with the processes

and tools described in these instructions,

we recommend that you hire a licensed electrician.

You are responsible for ensuring that you do not have

any existing contractual obligations regarding your

existing alarm system. You are also responsible for any

changes or damage to your existing alarm system.
