What is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is a form of short-range wireless
communication technology used to connect cell
phones and personal computers.
This technology enables hands-free calling and
data transmission between Bluetooth-compatible
devices.

• For safety reasons, the driver must
not operate the cell phone while
driving.
• State and local ordinances must be
strictly followed when using cell
phones.
Selecting the Bluetooth hands-
free mode

Press

~IMENUI
button.
The Bluetooth hands-free mode is
activated.
mATTENTION
• The Bluetooth hands-:free mode can be
activated from any audio mode.
• At any time the [RTN/BAND) button can be
pressed to return to the previous step.
The Bluetooth hands-free
function
Making a call
This function enables you to dial phone numbers
from the main unit,
or
to
make calls using the
stored phone numbers (phonebook) and
incoming/outgoing call history.
Making a call
by
dialing a phone
number
Calls can be made by dialing phone numbers
from the main unit.
Before dialing a phone number directly from the
main unit, set Dial Setting of the Phone Setting
selection mode to ON. (For details, refer to
"Enabling phone numbers to
be
input directly" on
page 57.)

repeatedly until the "Dial Input" is
displayed.

Press the [SELECT] (Up/Down)
button, to input numbers between
oand 9.
Up:
Increases the number.
Down:
Decreases the number.

Press the [SELECT] (Right/Left)
button
to
move the cursor.
Right:
The cursor moves to the right.
Left:
The cursor moves to the left.
