What is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is a form of short-range wireless
communication technology, used to connect cell
phones and personal computers.
This technology enables hands-free calling and
data transmission between Bluetooth-compatible
devices.

~WARNING
For safety reasons, the driver must not
operate the portable device while driving.
Stop the vehicle
in
a safe location before
operating the device.
~CAUTION
Do not leave the portable device
inside a vehicle. (The temperature
inside a vehicle may increase
dramatically when it is exposed to
extreme heat from the sun.)
Do not use the portable device in a
location close to the main unit. If they
are too close together, the sound
quality and the connection may be
adversely effected.
Listening to music

Switch to the Bluetooth audio
mode.

Modes" on page 18.)

Press
the
[SELECn
(Up) button.
The connected Bluetooth-compatible
portable device starts to play music.
The Bluetooth
audio
function
~ATTENTION
If the portable device is not connected to
the main unit, its play function is disabled.
If the portable device does not start playing,
even after you have pressed the [SELECT]
(Up) button, press the Play button
on
the
portable device.
Stopping the music

Switch
to
another
audio
mode.

Modes" on page 18.)
~ATTENTION
The portable device may continue to play
music even if it is switched to another audio
mode.
Pausing the music

Press
button
[1].
The music being played is paused.
~ATTENTION
Press the [SELECT] (Up) button or button [1]
to start playing the music.
