How to operate
ESN security
Activating ESN
ESN is activated once a pin code has been registered as shown in “Registering a pin code
for the unit and the “Memory Stick Duo”” on page 6.
If ESN is activated, the navigation and audio functions of this unit will be rendered inoperable
in the event that the battery terminal of the vehicle is disconnected then reconnected.
Canceling the ESN Lock (allows the main unit to be
operated)
ESN can be canceled using a “Memory Stick Duo” with a registered pin code.
When the battery terminal has been disconnected then reconnected, the loading and opening
screens are displayed followed by the SECURITY screen.
Insert the “Memory Stick Duo” with
a registered pin code into the slot.
