Registering, correcting or deleting a memory point
Registering memory points
Up to 106 memory points (landmarks) can be registered on a map, including 1 home and 5
quick access points. If 106 points are already registered, first delete unnecessary memory
points and proceed.
Registering memory points enables you to do the following:
Display the icon and memory point name on the map.
Sound an alarm that announces an approaching a point.
Retrieve maps corresponding to memory points when setting a destination (See page 88).
Memory points can be registered on the map currently displayed.

One-touch registration

You can register points using a detailed map with a scale of 0.5 miles (500 m) or
less (excluding for one-touch registration).
Depending on the location, the address displayed for the memory point may
include the name of a neighboring area.
A registered memory point may display the name or address of a neighboring
location.
