Navigation guidance
5. Route guidance
When approaching a junction intersection (within approximately 450 yd (400 m)), the enlarged
intersection display screen automatically appears.
Lane guidance
Displays passing lanes or junction
intersection lanes. (Recommended lanes
are displayed in blue.)
Next street name
Displays the names of roads at intersections
and junctions.
Distance to the intersection
The distance to the intersection is indicated.
Instruction points
Displays intersection guidance.
Remaining distance meter
Displays the remaining distance to the intersection.
Enlarged intersection display screen
●Intersection guidance is not available when driving on minor roads.
●Road names and lane information will not be displayed for intersectiosn for which
no information exists in the map data.
●The displayed road names and lane information may differ from the actual road
and lane conditions.
●In the following situations, intersection guidance is not performed:
• Immediately after route guidance is started
• In the vicinity of the destination
●The intersection guidance may be early or late.
●If the next junction intersection is close, the enlarged intersection display will
continue to be displayed.
●When an enlarged intersection display screen is shown, the road name will be
displayed for the junction intersection. The enlarged display does not appear
prior or approaching junction intersections.
