• Each time VIDEO OUT is pressed, the
screen size will be changed in the
order shown below.

• 16:9
The video is displayed in normal wide size. DVD software recorded in 4:3 size will be
displayed with black left and right edges or will be expanded to the left and right.
• 4:3 (letter box)
The video is displayed with black upper and lower edges.
DVD software recorded in 4:3 size will be displayed exactly at screen size (4:3).
• 4:3 (pan & scan)
The video is displayed with right and left edges cut off. DVD software recorded in 4:3
size will be displayed exactly at screen size (4:3).
When another monitor such as the rear seat monitor is being used, the size of the
video being displayed in the rear seat monitor will differ according to the video
output size that is set by this main unit (front).
Viewing of wide screen modes is permitted when limited to the personal
entertainment of the user, but caution is required when using technologies such
as image compression and expansion for the purpose of commercial benefit or
public presentation may infringe upon the rights of the copyright holder being
protected by applicable copyright law.
